This ceramic dish is hand-formed from porcelain clay. Sgraffito is used to create the intricate, abstract botanical pattern. To create this design, a dark green slip is applied to the clay. The botanical pattern is then carved through to reveal the white clay underneath. Once fired, the dish is covered in a shiny clear glaze.
The piece is food, dishwasher, and microwave safe. Ceramic-ware is very durable and will withstand daily use for many years to come. However it is sensitive, so please do not go directly from cold to hot and do not place on an open flame or heat source. The dish is roughly 1/2"h x 5 1/2" x 10"
