Start your day by drinking your coffee or tea out of something handmade! This porcelain mug is thrown on a pottery wheel and then a technique called Sgraffito is used to create the intricate, abstract botanical pattern. To create this design, a deep blue is brushed on to the wet clay. The abstract wave is then hand-carved carved through to reveal the white clay underneath. Once fired, the mug is covered in a clear, food-safe glossy glaze.
The piece is food, dishwasher, and microwave safe. Ceramic-ware is very durable and will withstand daily use for many years to come. However it is sensitive, so please do not go directly from cold to hot and do not place on an open flame or heat source. The mug holds roughly 14oz of your favorite beverage and measures 4-5"high.
